Send an Email to booking@transfemsauna.org with the date and time you would like to book the sauna. Please keep in mind it can take two to three days for us to respond.
Depending on how cold it is, the Sauna takes up to 1h to be heated to 80°, so make sure you book enough time so you can actually use it. Pre-Heating the sauna and going for three warmings with rest periods in between usually takes about three hours.
We will confirm your booking and send you the Code for the key safe and Instructions on how to use the Sauna. You may of course contact us if you have any questions about the Sauna and how to operate it. If you change your mind or your plans change, please send us an e-mail to cancel your reservation.

Tuesday and Saturday are transfem community days. On these days the Sauna is only open for trans feminine and trans misogyny affected people, if you would like to do a “private” transfem Sauna session with your transfem friends on Tuesdays or Saturdays contact us at booking@transfemsauna.org. Please respect this policy and give us the community space we so desperately need.
On all other days everyone who takes part in our struggle is welcome. Book it for a session of relaxation after your political organizing or use it to regain energy after a long day of labour.
Trans women and trans misogyny affected folk: Free
Only covering firewood costs: 5Fr.-/Hour
Help us recover some of the sauna cost: 10Fr.-/Hour
If you’re cis, please cover at least the firewood you’ve burned (5Fr/Hour) and consider giving at least 10Fr.- per Person who used the Sauna. We’re grateful if we can recover some of the expenses we had during construction of the sauna. Wood is expensive. And we used a lot of it (Over 4000 Fr.- worth). Add to that about 60 woman-days of labour. We spent mostly our own money on this project and we’re grateful if we get some of that money back. Please consider giving us more money than the wood you burned is worth, especially if you’re cis.
